IronMap ("we", "our", or "the app") is a gym training and daily habit tracking app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
IronMap collects the minimal data needed to provide its features. All data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage unless you use a feature that sends data off your device (communities, the AI Coach, or Pro purchases).
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information for core app features.
If you join a community using a community code, the following data is synced to our backend (Supabase) to enable the community feed:
This data is associated with your device ID only — not your name, email, or any other identity. Other community members can see your display name, streak, and check-in completion status.
When you send the coach a message, IronMap builds the smallest slice of your training data needed to answer it — which can include your logged workout history, personal records, per-exercise effort ratings, training goal, body weight, age bracket, gym equipment, and recovery data you log (including self-reported condition ratings) — and sends it, with your message, to our backend and on to Anthropic, the AI provider that generates the reply.
On iOS with Apple Watch, IronMap requests read access to heart rate data during workouts. This data is:
IronMap does not write data to HealthKit other than workout records you explicitly complete. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → IronMap.
Pro purchases are processed by Apple (App Store). We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and unlock Pro across reinstalls; RevenueCat stores your purchase history against an anonymous ID.
On builds distributed through the Solana dApp Store, an optional Pro unlock can be purchased via the Solana wallet you connect; the transaction occurs on the public Solana blockchain and is inherently public.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or third-party tracking.
Local data (workout logs, check-ins, settings) is stored on your device and remains until you delete the app or use the "Delete all data" option in Settings.
Community data on our servers is retained while you are a member of a community. When you leave a community, your check-in data for that community is removed from the feed. You can request full deletion of all server-side data associated with your device ID by contacting us.
Coach usage counts are retained as rolling aggregates. The "Delete all data" option in Settings, or a deletion request by email, removes all server-side data associated with your device ID, including coach usage records.
IronMap is designed for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through IronMap, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this privacy policy as the app's features evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of IronMap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
